TerraMed was founded by brothers Mehmet and Serkan Serdaroglu, who bring together decades of experience in engineering, quality, business operations, and leadership across highly regulated industries.
Mehmet Serdaroglu — Founder & CEO
Mehmet is a medical device professional with more than 18 years of experience developing and supporting life-changing healthcare technologies. Throughout his career, he has held engineering and leadership roles at some of the world's leading healthcare organizations, including Vantive, Johnson & Johnson, Eli Lilly, Abbott, Philips Healthcare, Medtronic, and Fresenius Medical Care. His expertise spans medical device design, quality systems, risk management, regulatory compliance, systems engineering, and product commercialization.
As a recognized expert in FDA and ISO-compliant medical device development, Mehmet has helped bring numerous medical technologies to market while ensuring the highest standards of safety, quality, and performance. His vision for TerraMed is to deliver orthopedic products that combine clinical effectiveness, exceptional quality, and affordability for healthcare providers and patients alike.

Serkan brings a unique blend of engineering expertise, project leadership, and people-focused management to TerraMed. Trained as a Mining Engineer and holding a Project Management Professional (PMP) certification, he has built a career managing complex projects, leading diverse teams, and driving operational excellence in demanding environments.
With extensive experience in project execution, strategic planning, stakeholder engagement, and organizational leadership, Serkan plays a key role in translating vision into action. His ability to build strong relationships, lead teams toward common goals, and create scalable business processes helps ensure TerraMed is positioned for sustainable growth and long-term success.
